Whether your dream wedding is an elegant garden party or has the feel of a backyard barbeque, Mohican Gardens can help make it a reality. The Lakeside Pergola, Conservatory, Century Barn and  outdoor gardens can  accommodate small intimate gatherings of less than 50 guests or large events of over 300 guests. Listed on the National  Registry of Historic Places, Mohican Gardens offers  a wide variety of settings to host special  occasions. 

The Lakeside Pergola

The Lakeside Pergola was added in 2006 featuring a 16x16 tumbled paver stone center flanked by 8x10 tea arbors on either side. The pergola is located in front of the lake which is home to a pair of mute swains. Sandstone bordered flower beds surround the pergola adding color and texture. Custom designed plantings featuring the colors and style of your event can also be added. The lawn area in front of the pergola can accommodate seating for up to 400 guests for the wedding ceremony. A wedding tent can also be added to accommodate an outdoor reception in the garden pergola area.

The Conservatory

The conservatory atrium features tumbled paver stone floors and vibrant tropical plants from across the globe that stay in bloom year round. A 6 foot waterfall and water garden add to the tranquility and are a beautiful background for wedding pictures or for an indoor wedding ceremony. The conservatory can accommodate 300 guests seated for dinner. Up to 500 guests can be accommodated for a cocktail reception in the conservatory and gardens.

The Century Barn

Built in 1854 this restored gem, a Pennsylvania style Bank Barn provides a rustic setting and comfortable country atmosphere for your casual gathering, rehearsal dinner or company events. The upper level of the barn provides banquet seating, the lower level houses restrooms and a commercial prep kitchen. The Century Barn will comfortably accommodate 100 guests seated at five foot round tables.

The Gardens

The gardens on the grounds of Mohican Gardens can serve as the perfect setting for an intimate wedding, a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding photographs and a beautiful place for your guests to meander during your reception. The display and theme gardens include a fragrance garden, cottage garden, and butterfly garden just to name a few.
