Bridal Open House

October 8, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Ever wonder what Mohican Gardens & Conservatory looks like on a wedding day? Come take a look on Sunday, October 8th when we will be hosting an Open House of the Conservatory, Barn, and Lakeside Pergola. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with our family and wedding professionals in the area who are ready to help make your dream wedding come true! Ask questions, take pictures, and enjoy the view at our 25 acre property in the heart of north central Ohio.

Most of our couples utilize the barn for a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception. We will have it set up with cocktail tables and light refreshments so you can see what it will look like on your wedding day. Built in 1850, this Civil War era barn provides the perfect backdrop of rustic country with a touch of modern twinkle in the brass chandelier and strings of cafe lights. The lower level features restrooms, a dressing room for the bride and attendants, and a prep kitchen. The barn can also serve as a backup for the ceremony if the weather doesn't cooperate! We can accommodate up to 150 guests inside for a ceremony.

Most ceremonies are held at our recently-renovated Lakeside Pergola, featuring a great view of the 2-1/2 acre lake complete with water lilies! The pergola has a tumbled paver floor and power for a sound system. Decorate it as you like, or leave it as is since we always have a variety of white flowers planted in the flower beds just in front. We set up all of the chairs based on your final guest count, so you'll be ready to decorate when you arrive on wedding day.

While you are here, take time to enjoy the dock on the pond and some of the various spaces dedicated to smaller conversations. These spaces will make your wedding day extra memorable to family and friends!

And don't forget to enjoy the gardens!
